1. Information We Collect
When you use TigerMode, we collect:
- Account information: email address, name, profile photo, date of birth (Google OAuth or email/password sign-up)
- Fitness data: meals logged, calorie/macro intake, workouts, weight, body measurements, fitness goals, dietary preferences
- Health & wearable data: with your explicit permission, exercise sessions and active calories burned read from Android Health Connect (Samsung Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Google Fit and similar). See Section 4.
- Social / user-generated content: posts, photos, comments, likes, community memberships, and challenge participation you create in the app’s social features
- WhatsApp data: phone number, message content (text, voice notes, images), conversation history with the AI coach
- Payment data: transaction IDs and subscription status (Razorpay and Google Play process card/UPI details directly — we do not store card numbers)
- Food & post images: photos you send for AI-powered meal recognition, and images you attach to social posts (which are screened for safety — see Section 3)
- Device & usage data: browser type, operating system, app version, feature usage patterns
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide personalised AI fitness coaching and meal tracking
- Generate diet and workout plans tailored to your goals
- Analyse food images to estimate nutritional content
- Display your synced workouts and activity, and award in-app points and streaks
- Automatically screen images you upload to social feeds for unsafe content (content moderation)
- Send proactive coaching messages, daily summaries, and weekly reports via WhatsApp
- Process subscription payments and manage your account
- Improve the accuracy and quality of our AI coaching
3. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following services to operate TigerMode:
Google Gemini & OpenAI (AI vision & coaching)
Your messages, meal descriptions, food images, and social-post images are sent to Google Gemini and/or OpenAI to generate coaching responses, nutritional analysis, and to screen post images for unsafe content. We select the provider automatically; their respective data-usage policies apply. These providers may process data on servers outside India (see below).
WhatsApp / Meta
Messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business API. Meta processes message delivery metadata. Your conversations are stored on our servers for coaching continuity.
Razorpay & Google Play (Payments)
Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay (web/WhatsApp) or Google Play Billing (Android app). They receive your payment instrument details (card, UPI, etc.) and transaction metadata. We store only transaction IDs and subscription status.
Supabase (Data Storage)
All user data, fitness logs, and conversation history are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security. File uploads (meal photos, avatars, post images) are stored in Supabase Storage.
International transfers:some of these providers (e.g. Google, OpenAI, Meta) process data on servers located outside India. Where data is transferred internationally, it remains protected under this policy and the providers’ own safeguards. We never sell your personal data.
4. Health & Wearable Data (Health Connect)
On Android, TigerMode can connect to Health Connect to sync your fitness activity. We only read this data after you explicitly grant permission, and only the following data types:
- Exercise sessions (your logged workouts and their duration/type)
- Active calories burned
This data is used solely to display your activity inside the app, calculate progress toward your goals, and award in-app points and streaks. We do not use Health Connect data for advertising, and we never sell or shareit with third parties for their own purposes. You can revoke access at any time in your device’s Health Connect settings or by disconnecting the device in the app; you can delete all synced health data by deleting your account (Section 7).
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. WhatsApp conversation history used for AI context is limited to the current day's messages. You may request deletion of all your data at any time (see Section 7).
6. Your Rights Under DPDPA
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: update inaccurate information
- Deletion: request permanent deletion of all your data
- Withdraw consent: opt out of data processing at any time
- Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (Section 11)
7. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data through the app settings or by contacting us. Deletion removes your profile, fitness logs, synced health data, social content, WhatsApp conversation history, payment records, meal images, and all other personal data. This action is irreversible. 8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted database connections, row-level security policies, HTTPS for all communications, and HMAC signature verification for webhook endpoints. Sensitive fields are redacted from server logs.
9. Age Requirement
TigerMode is intended for users 18 years of age and older. The app’s social features are age-gated to adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. How to Unsubscribe
- Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message to unsubscribe from coaching
- Type CANCEL in WhatsApp to cancel your premium subscription
- Manage your subscription in app settings

11. Grievance Officer (India)
